Location
Fuschl am See is a small and tranquil lakeside resort town on Lake Fuschl just 25 kilometres to the east of Salzburg in the heart of the Salzburg Lake District. The Hotel Mohrenwirt lies in the resort centre approximately three hundred metres from the lake and the Hotel’s own beach.

Offering a total of 120 beds, the Hotel features a reception, lobby and small lounge, café, ‘Stuberl’ Bar, dining room, car parking, lawn and free internet access. Leisure facilities include a sauna and fitness room on the top floor with whirlpool and an outdoor sunbathing terrace. A Solarium, Beauty and Massage treatments are also available subject to a local charge. Guests also enjoy free access to ‘Fuschlseebad’, the local outdoor pool. The owner Jacob Schmidlechner offers minibus taxi transfers from Salzburg airport and the hotel also has its own Mini Cooper for hire.
Rooms
All rooms are ensuite with telephone, cable TV and hairdryer and most have a balcony. All rooms have a wireless internet connection (payable locally).
Meals
Accommodation is available on a bed and breakfast or half board basis. Breakfast consists of a well-assorted breakfast buffet and dinner comprises four courses with choice of courses. There is also a weekly speciality buffet evening.
Our Opinion
The family-run Hotel Mohrenwirt in peaceful Fuschl is an ideal and relaxing base from which to explore the Golf Courses of the Salzburg Lake District.
